ABOUT MATT
Matt Fankhauser is a strategic marketing and business development executive with a strong track record of helping professional services and financial organizations sharpen their market position, expand visibility, and drive growth. He brings a thoughtful mix of brand leadership, business development strategy, communications expertise, and practical execution, shaped by more than two decades of experience working with banks, law firms, and other client-focused organizations.
Throughout his career, Matt has led initiatives that connect strategy to measurable results. His background includes developing targeted marketing programs, guiding rebrands, launching new business lines, supporting thought leadership efforts, improving proposal and pitch processes, and creating campaigns that elevate awareness while strengthening client relationships. He has also worked closely with leadership teams to align marketing and business development efforts with broader strategic goals, helping organizations pursue growth with greater focus and consistency.
Before joining MCA, Matt held senior marketing and business development roles with Western Alliance Bank, Gust Rosenfeld P.L.C., Quarles & Brady, Snell & Wilmer, and Strong & Hanni. Across those roles, he led high-impact initiatives ranging from product and service launches to anniversary campaigns, website redevelopment, revenue-focused client development efforts, and integrated marketing programs for specialized industry and practice groups. His experience spans branding, digital marketing, content development, event strategy, relationship-building, and market positioning.
Matt earned his MBA from the University of Utah and holds a bachelor’s degree in mass communications with an emphasis in public relations, also from the University of Utah.
Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and watching baseball, hockey, and Utah Utes football.
