The Position
We are seeking a results-driven Director to lead essential components of our Business Consulting and Services engagements. This role combines hands-on financial and operational analysis with leadership of key work streams and client interaction, driving impactful solutions and supporting client success. You will be pivotal in providing high-level analysis, managing project workstreams, and fostering strong client relationships across a diverse range of engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support M&A transactions, including due diligence, financial analysis, and participation in negotiations.
- Prepare and review management presentations and confidential memorandums.
- Perform valuation analyses utilizing DCF, comparable company data, and cost approaches.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models for forecasting, scenario analysis, valuations, and damage calculations.
- Build and review 13-week cash flow models and liquidity forecasts.
- Analyze operational processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend cost cutting solutions.
- Design and implement restructuring plans for performance improvement.
- Support testifying expert witnesses in litigation engagements, including economic damage calculations and the preparation and review of expert and rebuttal reports.
- Present findings and facilitate discussions among clients and stakeholders.
- Cultivate and expand client relationships to drive practice growth and business development.
Professional Growth
- Gain direct exposure to clients and senior decision-makers across engagements.
- Mentor junior staff and work alongside accomplished senior management.
- Engage in diverse consulting engagements, broadening industry knowledge and expertise.
- Build a robust professional network and achieve industry recognition.
Qualifications
- CPA and/or MBA preferred.
- 4-6 years of relevant industry experience in operational and financial restructuring, accounting, or finance at a major accounting or restructuring firm.
- Proficiency in Excel and advanced financial modeling skills.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure situations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively.
