ABOUT LISA
Lisa Rivera, MBA, SHRM-SCP, is the Human Resources Director at MCA Financial Group and a bilingual HR executive with more than 20 years of experience leading people strategy across manufacturing, finance, and professional services environments. She is known for building scalable organizational cultures, aligning HR strategy with business goals, and delivering practical, data-driven solutions across complex, fast-paced, multi-site operations. Her background includes strategic leadership in employee relations, full employee lifecycle management, legal and regulatory compliance, HRIS optimization, analytics, and leadership development.
Before joining MCA, Lisa served as a corporate consultant with Pinnacle Talent, where she partnered with clients in healthcare, construction, oil and gas, manufacturing, education, and finance on infrastructure development, HRIS optimization, total rewards and wellness strategy, training, payroll services, performance management, and handbook development. Her work helped clients improve operational efficiency, strengthen employee satisfaction, reduce turnover, and shorten time-to-hire. Earlier in her career, she held senior HR leadership roles with Steinwall Inc., Plasman, and Quad Graphics, where she led initiatives involving productivity improvement, benefits strategy, compensation structure design, performance management, engagement, retention, workforce planning, and organizational change. She also directed HR operations across multiple facilities in the United States and Mexico and played a key role in restructuring, succession planning, and leadership development efforts.
Lisa began her career with Steinwall and advanced through multiple roles of increasing responsibility, building a strong foundation in HR, operations, and business strategy. Over the course of her career, she has contributed to measurable business outcomes including improved retention, increased productivity, reduced insurance and overhead costs, and stronger organizational alignment. Her ability to combine strategic vision with hands-on execution has made her a trusted partner to executive leadership teams and operating managers alike.
Lisa earned her MBA from the University of Phoenix and holds dual bachelor’s degrees in International Business and Spanish from Minnesota State University, Mankato. She has held the SHRM-SCP designation since 2018 and brings both executive-level HR leadership and Spanish fluency to her work.
Away from the office, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family. She and her husband have three daughters, one son, and a Sheepadoodle. Lisa also enjoys traveling, being outdoors, reading, and discovering new restaurants.
